Firefly Photography (http://www.FireflyPhotos.com), a popular wedding and portrait photography boutique in Rittenhouse Square, announced today that they are adding Couture Boudoir & Vintage Pin-Up photos to their list of services.

Individual sessions are available, but the studio recommends party sessions. It is much more fun to make a day out of it with your girlfriends, says Jennifer Conard, one of Fireflys photographers. The studio is partnering with local salons and is including make-up artistry and hair styling in their standard Boudoir packages. The packages also include an elegant leather portfolio with retouched prints. Canvas prints and calendars are a few of the upgrade options. Introductory rates for the new Couture Boudoir packages start at $ 500.

Firefly Photography is owned by Kathleen Ferry, a long time Philadelphia area resident. I have spent so much time photographing all shapes and sizes and ages of women during the most memorable times in their life – starting with their wedding day and continuing on with the birth of their first child. says Ferry. For me, Boudoir Portraiture is all about empowering women to feel good about themselves and their bodies.

Ferry is hoping to attract girls of all ages with the new service. Its perfect for bachelorette parties, or for brides to give to their groom the night before the wedding. I am also envisioning moms and housewives going out with their girlfriends and getting dressed up for a day. My 60 year old aunt just called me and asked if we could photograph her and her 8 friends, Ferry giggles.

Firefly Photography specializes in wedding & event photography, maternity, baby and family portraits. Kathleen Ferry spent 10 years in advertising agencies in New York, Boston, London and Philadelphia before she quit the business world to focus on her creative side. She launched Firefly Photography in 2003 and opened the boutique in Rittenhouse Square in 2007.
