Located in East Los Angeles historic Lincoln Park, Plaza de la Raza (Plaza) is a private non-profit organization that for 41 years has served the Latino community and greater east Los Angeles. Providing year round programs in arts education, performing and visual arts to more than 10,000 children every year. Due to impending budget cuts Plaza has lost a large portion of its funding critical to daily operations and the many services the school provides to the local community. The screenings and event in Lincoln Park on April 2nd will kick off the fundraising drive to save Plaza de la Raza.
