In their quest for an evergreen album full magic of the winter holiday started Michele de Wilton us the gift of the snow-angels, with a inviting blend of nostalgia and holiday enjoyment, instrumental in the larger umbrella of the New Age, resorts, and contemporary solo piano genre.

There is no easy task for a unique holiday album creation, but Wilton was Snow Angel (published on Michele de Wilton Records, November 22, 2011) by taking the entire season, managed to expand thanks to new Years and late winter. To create their signature vivid, storytelling images with piano is the richest in this mixture of traditional songs and winter-themed original artwork. Speaking by phone from her studio, Wilton said the simple snow angel speaks of the season. I have so many traditional carols. I enjoy the Wilton engineer some of them with a new arrangement, if you have the piece, and feel that it is more seasonal approach just started for me.

their supporters to say, the Wilton innate ability to tell a story without words is her unique gift. The Columbus, Ohio-based pianist inspired by a global education grew up in South Africa, Greece, England, and later, in the U.S. for this album, she taps into the magic, legends and folk stories and feelings about the holidays seasonparticularly wintertimein the edge of an acoustic kaleidoscope of images called pruning trees, carolers, Christmas parades and glittering landscape of icy snow.

in July and September 2011, Recorded Snow Angel was a one-of-a-kind album created and compiled for the temporary duration of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year to follow. For example, the opening track, thanks for the Thanksgiving clever title. Thanks a previously recorded song with a full and joyous melody, setting the stage for the rest of the season albumand. Snowfall is a new original song, which called Wilton images of a world shaken fresh snow with a high average scores falling snowflakes. The cascading piano melodies and sparkling sound effects are the key speedsall different snowflakes fall include a film context of the imaginative ingenuity of people like Richard Wright and Thomas Newman. In fact, the artist has a special effort to the crystalline sound re-recording it on a beautiful restored 1909 Steinway Model B piano perfect for achieving the clearest high notes. Capturing Winter Blue Green includes a slow and pensive melody that is as soft as snowflakes tumbling over a frozen field. The instrumental songs previously released on the Wilton Daydream album, was inspired by Blue Winter, a poem by Robert Francis.

Traditional Christmas Carol favorites in all their glory and is adorned with an amazing variety of purity, harmony and joy of piano playing. Angels we have a high audience, is a classic, Michele holds quite traditional, but not without infusion, a melodious mixture of over-friendly sound. The next piece, O Holy Night, is a traditional song that gives the childlike spirit in all of us, with good King Wenceslas. It is remarkable that the harp as ornaments on the piano in this piece produced stars. The next set songsO Come, O Come Emmanuel, God Rest Ye Merry, Lord, What Child Is Thisis a current arpeggio of holiday magic.

Michele is a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Snow Queen, Gerda and Kay on Waltz for the third original piece on the album. The story deals with questions of good and evil, love and relationships, Kay and Gerda shown love for each other, despite Kay’s abduction by the Snow Queen in her ice palace. The ambulating and apparently gloomy piano-tinkling sounds resemble the sounds of icicles form, expand and break. Similarly, there is Michele’s inspiration for the inclusion in the Bleak Midwinter, a child experiences at the age of 8, while learning the song, a poem by Christina Rossetti in a school in Greece. According to Wilton, stop the heat and it was cold. Perhaps the warm, clear piano melodies in this piece is an uplifting feeling to make it through rough places of life, especially in the Arctic air explosion of midwinter season to give.

Wilton includes a live bonus track on the album, The Ice Maiden, inspired by a Norwegian myth about a goddess frost. First, her debut album, myths and legends, during a snowstorm recorded in Chicago Recording Company in 2008, recognizes the Wilton, they prefer to live track on the other, and were very excited one of the reasons they and their supporters to share. From Winter Bloom (See, how a Rose Blooming Glory), increases the Wilton highly creative license with the song mixing traditional and original tunes that are finely tuned and intertwined.

At the end of the holiday season creates a festive tribute Michele for the new year with the addition of Auld Lang Syne. The traditional New Year’s ode is full of rippling piano melodies that fall and was tenderly feelings in an almost mirror ways promising renewal for the coming year.
